Absolutely!  We have two instructional designers available to assist with faculty concerns.  We want to partner with you!

We have virtual office hours in our course in Brightspace by D2L titled eLearning Faculty Community - D2L4U_80_201570_rev every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. if you would rather work with us in a virtual classroom (i.e. faculty member that does not reside in Great Falls).  If you do not have access to the eLearning Faculty Community, please contact us.

I am originally from a small town in north Idaho and have my Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering. I then went on to graduate school and have a Ph.D. in Pharmacology.   I moved to Great Falls to work at the McLaughlin Research Institute and am now at Great Falls College as a adjunct instructor and as the NANSLO Lab Manager.  The NANSLO labs are remote labs that offer students access to science equipment such as microscope from off campus locations.

Instructional Designer

I am an eLearning Instructional Designer at GFCMSU. I started at GFCMSU as a student in 2003.  Upon entering clinicals for the Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program, I quickly realized that nursing was not for me.  I then obtained my Bachelor's degree from the MSU Northern GFCMSU distance program.  Prior to my career at GFCMSU, I worked for Great Falls Public Schools for five years.  I have also taught preschool and adults of all ages.

My passion for technology and education inspired me to complete my Master's degree in Educational Technology with a certification in Online Teaching for Adult Learners from Boise State University.  I plan on pursuing my Doctorate after I regain the desire to be so busy that I cannot even see straight.  :)
